HQE

Description :

The goal of HQE ™ certification is to help communities and developers manage their sustainable development project by setting consistent objectives that take into account the context of their operation and organizing their smooth operation to achieve them.

It is based on a framework developed by Certivéa, CSTB and ADEME, built around the 14 targets of the HQE® approach for a global environmental approach.

Eco-building targets :

Target 1. Harmonious relationship of buildings with their immediate environment

• Plot development for sustainable urban development

• Environmental quality of outdoor spaces for users

• Impacts of the building on the neighborhood.

Target 2. Integrated choice of construction products, systems and processes

• Constructive choices for the durability and adaptability of the structure

• Constructive choices for ease of maintenance of the structure

• Choice of construction products to limit environmental impacts

• Choice of construction products to limit health impacts

Target 3. Low Environmental Impact Site

• Optimization of site waste management

Comfort targets :

Target 8. Hygrothermal comfort

• Architectural arrangements to optimize hygrothermal comfort in winter and summer

• Creation of hygrothermal comfort conditions in winter

• Creation of hygrothermal comfort conditions in summer in non air-conditioned rooms

• Creation of hygrothermal comfort conditions in summer in air-conditioned premises

Target 9. Acoustic comfort

• Optimization of architectural arrangements to protect users of the building from acoustic nuisance • Creation of a quality acoustic environment adapted to the different rooms • Control of internal room acoustics

Target 10. Visual comfort

• Ensuring optimal natural illumination while avoiding its disadvantages

• Comfortable artificial lighting

Target 11. Olfactory comfort

• Guaranteed effective ventilation

• Control of sources of unpleasant odors

Eco-management targets :

Target 4. Energy Management

• Reduction of energy demand through architectural design

• Reduction of primary energy consumption and related pollution

Target 5. Water Management

• Reduction of drinking water consumption

• Optimization of stormwater management

Target 6. Waste management

• Optimization of waste recovery

• Quality of the waste management system Target 7. Maintenance • Maintaining the performance of heating and cooling systems

• Maintaining the performance of ventilation systems

• Maintaining the performance of lighting systems

• Maintaining the performance of water management systems

Health targets :

Target 12. Sanitary quality of spaces

• Control of electromagnetic exposure

• Creation of specific hygiene conditions

Target 13. Health quality of air

• Guaranteed effective ventilation

• Control of pollution sources

Target 14. Health status of water

• Quality and durability of materials used in the interior network

• Organization and protection of the internal network

• Temperature control in the indoor network

• Control of anti-corrosion and anti-scale treatments
